On September 9, 2021, a group of bicyclists decided to once again trap commuters on the Great Highway.  This created an extremely dangerous situation, and it was only because of the remarkable restraint shown by drivers that the situation didn’t escalate and turn violent. 

The Mayor and the Board of Supervisors, and now the police, have been informed numerous times that bicyclists are taking over the Highway, and tempers are running short.  

 

It is now time for the City Attorney's office to step in to ensure no one is harmed when this happens again (and it will).
