On November 23, 2021, a press release and outrageous message by SF Recreation and Parks in the Richmond Review/Sunset Beacon announced food trucks would be present on the Great Highway while banning other vehicles from the highway.

This is highly objectionable.

Without any public process whatsoever, the gates to the Great Highway are suddenly allowed to be unlocked during the weekend to allow Food Trucks to drive on, set up tables/chairs, and sell food/drinks on the highway while it is closed to thousands of commuters/people.
